For Issue 40 of Standart, an independent coffee magazine, Owen reported from Ecuador, chronicling the arc of the country’s coffee history. In 2026, Standart was named a Best European Magazine alongside publications like Wired and Esquire. The award was Standart’s second Best European Magazine recognition.
